History of Firm

The RSW Group, LLP had its genesis in 1978 when Richard S. Whelan and Richard S. Whitworth began working together at Marcoin Management Services, in Louisville, KY. From day one these two men shared a common goal and a vision of one day owning their own firm.

In June 1994 that dream manifested itself, and they were able to purchase the clients which they had serviced for 16 years. Hence the origin of The RSW Group, LLP.

Today, we provide monthly or quarterly accounting and write-up work for approximately 100 - 125 clients throughout the Louisville metropolitan area, extending from Seymour, In. in the north to Munfordville, KY in the south and as far east as Cincinnati, OH. In addition to these monthly and quarterly clients we provide tax planning and preparation to some 400 - 500 clients on an annual basis.
